Keep all your knives sharp and ready to cut with this sharpener. Easy to use because it is already set to the proper angle of the knife or scissor edge taking away the tendency to make the mistakes that happen on a honing steel.

This is an easy to use too for scissors as well as knives. It keeps your knives sharp forever, and extend the life of scissors. The easy to use 'pull through' motion for your knives takes the guessing out of maintaining your knives. The part I like is just scissor your way to sharpening scissors. The same cutting motion is all you need to know.

You have to maintain your knives in order to keep them sharp. For many, the honing steel is too difficult and can't reset a really dull knife. This simple pull through sharpener is so simple, anyone can do it. The scissor sharpener is genius! I use my scissors for so many things (some things scissors aren't meant to do) and they get dull. This is so easy to use and very effective.

I have a set of Henkle knives with a scissor, which I've used for a handful of years. A set like these are very nice to begin with and just needed some TLC since I actually use them.
I firmly believe in using the honing steel for the knives before going to a sharper, which led me to this purchase. With a few slides through the coarse and then fine sides, wipe off any burrs which might have been generated and BAM! Like new sharp knives!
The design is stupid-simple and just requires you to apply firm pressure on the coarse and then lightly drag through the fine. The bottom comes with a non-slide surface, which is important, so you don't wind up slipping and slicing off your favorite digit. The scissor sharpening is simple too, as you just need to use scissor/pull action to sharpen
The only con I can think of, which really isn't one, would be the potential for the knife to slip onto the plastic as it slides out of the sharpener. Better that it be a softer surface like this, rather than something that hard that would dull the blade.
Oh, just in case you have a pair of japanese knives, this is not the tool you're looking for. Thankfully, our mighty Zwilling conglomerate overlords have a specific tool for that.
In the end, this is a little more expensive than I really think it should be, but it's a good sharpener and fits the job and does it right. No regrets!

I sharpened every pair of scissors in the house, including the ones in my Swiss army knife, and all my cooking knives and Swiss army knife as well. They all passed the paper slicing test afterward, no problem.

This is by far the best knife sharpener I have used to date. I am thrilled it sharpens my scissors too. I have had my Pro S knives for 20 years and my scissors were dull. They are razor sharp now thanks to my new sharpener. Thank you for continuing to put out such great products. I would recommend this to my friends along with your knives!
