While I find this product to be quite well made and very stable on my countertop, I am not convinced of its sharpening capabilities. I decided to sharpen an older knife from my drawer and in all honesty, found the blade to be duller than it was prior to “sharpening”. I will continue to practice on other knives before I try using it on my new Henkel set
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
