10 inches of sharp love

I use a 10 inch chef knife for pastry making. It use this knife to cut layers of cake, rounds of cinnamon rolls. The sharpness and easy with which it glides through sticky dough makes it easy to see why I can rely on it to breakdown a whole New York strip.
The quality of this knife is terrific. It is part of the Pro line, one of Zwilling's best. The steel will hold up for a lifetime and the knife requires little maintenance, just regular honing (see the 2-stage sharpeners if you are timid about honing) and maybe sharpen it once a year (if it gets used daily). It has an angled bolster, a new design features that matches the grip of professional chef's. It keeps the thumb and forefinger in the correct position for maximum control.

Initially I purchased this big knife for preparing hard winter squash, the long blade gave me better control. But, since then I have used it for lots of other food preps. It is very well balanced, the bolster fits my hand well, the handle is very comfortable, the blade is very sharp and stays sharp with simple steel honing. This is an excellent knife.

This 10" behemoth will tackle any big prep task in the kitchen. The ergonomic handle and the curved bolster make for a comfortable grip and the blade stays extra sharp for a long time.

Cut like a Pro with a Pro

I have several knives in my block but this is the knife I always reach for. Great weight. Very comfortable. After a knife skills class and being introduced to the pinch grip, it has made all the difference. The curved bolster makes the pich grip feel so natural. Very sharp. Great for any task. I treated my husband to the 10" chef. Good size for him. A little large for me. But nice to each have our favorites.

This Pro 10" chef is perfect for anyone who's into wide knife. One big knife will cut large food with control for it's pinch grip knife is ergonomic. Comfortable, balanced size will quickly become the go-to knife for everyday tasks.
It's the most easiest to sharpen for it's half bolster, nothing gets in the way no matter what you sharpened it either stone or machine.
