Sleek and Stylish!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great quality. The display is excellent. Great for catching up on your favorite shows and movies online. Stereo speakers are excellent. The tablet is sleek and stylish. I haven't used the S-pen much but do intend to use it more in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an upgrade from the Tab S6 and it was so worth it. Even thought the screen is LCD vs SuperAMOLED, is really no noticable. It is still an outstanding screen with great pixel density. Samsung continues the great design language from previous S Tab lines. Performance is top notch. By far the top Android tablet line.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought a month ago. Using for school book reading and taking notes. It's great for media consumption. Never slows down and the pen and keyboard make this the perfect on the go machine. Works with Samsung phone and windows 11 perfectly.

The perfect tablet for multitasking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this tablet as an upgrade to a 3 year old Galaxy Tab A. I was ready to step into the flagship tablet market and I am so glad that I chose this model. Everything about it has been amazing. I am a grad student and I can say that aside from taking online exams I use this device as a replacement for my 15.6 inch PC.
Portability: I purchased the 11 inch Tab S8 and the 11inch is the perfect size for me. I originally was concerned that the 12.4 S8+ would have been better but this is perfect for my needs. It's lighter thant the Tab 8+ and sits fine on a desk/table or in my lap. It also is probably the only of the three devices that sits perfectly on an airplane tray table.
Screen: The screen for an LTPS LCD screen is amazing. The brightness has always been more than I need and youtube vidoes, netflix and disney plus shows look outstanding in 4k resolution. I never personally have the brightness above 50% unless outdoors and the glare is manageable and the brightness is very good even in sunny environments. I also love the 120HZ adaptive refresh rate. This makes the scrolling experience so enjoyable whether it's on the home screen between apps or reading large articles.
Performance: I have had no issues whatsoever with performance. No stutter, no overheating, no issues at all. My favorite feature of the tab s8 is using DeX mode. As a student I use this constantly so I can have spotify playing while I answer emails and study my notes or pull up a video tab. Also the much improved table mode is amazing to have split screen mode for apps along with the ability to open a third small app like youtube or spotify is amazing for productivity.
Battery life: Given the power of the screen and the ability to run all of these data consuming apps the battery life is very good. I am a medium usage person. Lots of youtube videos and spotify while using applications like google docs, sheets, outlook etc. along with chrome for internet browsing and research. I get a solid 5-6 hours of screen on time per day and the battery consistenly stays between 30-40 percent. I think a full 8-10 hours of screen time could be expected if you aren't gaming.
Features: I'll highlight two amazing features that I love. The improved 12mp front camera is fantastic for zoom calls and video calls with friends and family. I love the image quality and the image tracking is a little shaky but I'm not that concerned. The S-pen is out of this world. I say it is so much more tactile than the Apple Pencil and the extremely low latency has no lag.
I would recommend spending the money and getting the book keyboard case with trackpad. It is amazing for the DeX mode and worth the price in my opinion. Plus it can be detachable with a great kickstand to have tablet mode on the go. If you want a high end tablet for productivity and like a stylus the comes with a tablet and enjoy a desktop feel with DeX this is the tablet line for you. Just decided on the size!

The performance of this tablet is the best yet, it's very very snappy very powerful and capable of playing all the games and running apps that I need. Camera quality is excellent as well.
