This binder used to be great but the D-rings on this model are now cheaper and no longer have the softer plastic used to open and close the lock. It was such a minor QOL thing that was really helpful in retrospect - disappointing to see it gone.

I was disappointed not to find any soft-cover binders that would suit my needs. Also the shiny plastic sleeve on the front cover and spine were very hard to remove and I needed the folder to be plain black and not shiny. I did use the folder bur suggest you look into locating a source for sturdy binders with inside pockets and a soft cover.

This is a very sturdy and well made binder. It seems to be tough and durable as well. Rings are very easy to open and close. I'm very pleased.
