I think it will be a very long lasting product that will make it thru the school year. The other brand that I usually buy tends to split and tear apart before the end of the school year.

Better Binders worth the extra cost

I have 2 students in my household. As with other families our children have their backpacks stuffed to the maximum. In fact they use two different backpacks for their class schedules. We have tried other binders and with all the shoving in the backpacks and overstuffing with notes and class materials the edges of the binder will tear and the binder is useless. The rubber edgeing on the Better Binder is a life saver. Also Staples has a policy to allow $2.00 credit on returned binders toward the purchase of a new binder. Lastly did purchase a binder with a defective part and Staples replaced it immediately no questions asked. I highly recommend this product.

We have used these binders for school work and personal work for a while and they stand up to the constant beating of a rough and tumble life. You can toss your books or whatever on them and they don't start to fall apart after a few months. They truly stand up to anything it seems and they can be used over and over. They have a great look as well! Not your standard bore of a binder/notebook. It's worth paying a little extra at first to be able to use these. I found myself saving money in the long run! They are a true family favorite and will always be!!

Sturdy Binder!

We have been shopping at Staples for years for back to school items for my two girls. These binders are the only binders my girls ... now in high school... choose. They also come in great colors and different width sizes. They enjoying picking out which color will be for certain subjects they will be taking in school. We also appreciate the binder recycling program Staples does and can get $2.00 back on used binders for every new binder purchased.

I've purchased other binders and found myself buying more half way through the school year because the binding split or the rings no longer closed.
