Exactly what I needed for a specific use

I put tech scripts in plastic page protectors into a 3-ring binder to run lighting and sound equipment at the local community theatre. The light and sound control boards are located on a booth with a laminated counter-top and every other 3-ring binder slides on the laminated top when I turn the pages. In the dark losing your place in the script or watching the binder slide off the counter onto the floor is NOT fun. So this binder with rubbery edges and rubbery coating on the center rib DOES NOT SLIDE and it is perfect for what I need. I've only had the binder for a few weeks and haven't done a show with it yet. I do wonder about how long the rubber parts will survive before they begin to dry out or crack hence 4 stars for now.

Binder has got my Kindergartener covered

My boy just started Kindergarten and the school indicated he needed a 1" ring binder. I wanted something that would hold up to abuse and misuse and would be easy to use so he didnt clip his fingers in the rings. This did it all. Its really well made easy to open and close the rings with one button and was reasonably priced. Just wish it came in bright red or bright blue instead of navy or wine.

good binder but each time I get one for school the rings get gaps! I got this same binder (first a three inch then two inch and after another two inch) and each time i had to return it because of ring problems. When I got my first one I checked the rings and they were perfect! then 2 weeks later they got gaps and messed up all of my papers (i'm not a messy person at all). That was an upset to me. Now I have a teal one two inch and now it has gaps. Guess I should return it and get a new one for the forth time *sigh*.
