This is an excellent sturdy notebook. I am using it to organize my gardening information and being able to make a cover sheet is very helpful as I have many notebooks. I think D-rings are the greatest and this notebook opens so easily. I also like the rubberized spine. No slippage.

1" Staples Better binder

I purchased this binder because the lesser ones don't last the whole school year due to the fact that they tear apart and I was taping them together so that they could be used longer. I was glad to see the stronger ones and don't mind paying more if they will last the whole year.

Very durable construction with nice spine window feature for names. Clean look. Covers could be stiffer.

They cost just a bit more then a standard 3-ring notebook but well worth it. Every few months I had to replace the notebook for the front desk. Now they have a "Better Binder" and I haven't had to replace it in more then a year! These are the only binders I buy these days!
