The 3 ring D binder was just what I needed something sturdy and capable of holding a lot. I used this to insert all of my owner's manuals into plastic sleeves and keep everything together for my whole household. The binder is solid and handled everything I needed. It is attractive and practical.

I only purchased it a few weeks ago. It is new so everything works properly. Of course the two obvious failure points are the latch mechanism to open the metal rings and the flex "hinge" that permits the user to open the cover. I'll let you know how well they last in 5 or 10 years.

Unfortunately it doesn’t have food flaps inside to house papers that can’t be hole-punched. Will do but not the best design.
