Sturdy but breaks easily so keep receipt

We have had two of these binders and while it is somewhat durable it breaks easily. We have the 3 inch binder so it carries a bunch but last year we had to return it for a new one and this year 3 weeks into school we had to return it for a new one. The rings eventually don't close even if you open it the way it is supposed to be opened (DO NOT PULL RINGS OPEN OR IT WILL BREAK). Otherwise it's a good binder but just keep your receipt so you can exchange it when it breaks.

Great Binder

I love these folders. They are sturdy and I love how easy they open with one click. No more pinching. I also love how many colors they come in. I purchased mine with one of Staples coupons. Love how Staples gives out coupons.

Closure alignment failed quickly.

The exterior of the notebook was fine. However the product's 3-ring binder closure failed and would not stay closed or stay aligned.

Best binders ever!

These are the best binders ever! We use them for organizing our warranties & manuals recipes household documents for activities for my toddler and many other uses. The color selection is great. They hold up to constant use & abuse better than any other binder I've used. I like the D-ring style of binder the best. Also the placement of the rings ensures the documents inside stay neat and orderly. I'm currently helping my mother get her home office back in order and we will be replacing all of her current binders with these. Great quality!!

junk Guarantee means nothing

Binder cover broke after less than a year. Took it in to get a replacement thinking lifetime guarantee meant they would replace a broken one. They said nope it was worn out and that's not prt of the gaurentee. I guess they have a different meaning for life.

WEAK D-Rings

I returned the two 3" binders that I had purchased. The D-rings would open every time I turned a single page not even multiple pages. I didn't feel comfortable putting 400+ pages of material in the binder for fear that the D-rings would not hold. They look nice but are not functional. Note: I did check other 3" binders of this same model at the store to see if the issue was only with the ones I had purchased but it seems to be an issue with this particular model of binder.
