I have never bought this type of notebook before. It was very flexible so I was worried it would not be sturdy. It was very sturdy and I was able to fill it very full. It is going to be used as an everyday policy book so it will get lots of wear. The metal clip base is strong and very sturdy as well. U went back and bout 5 other notebooks for my practice. I will also buy the smaller notebooks as well. They come in very many different colors also. I also liked the unique spine marker. You can slide the name in a secure easy manner. It is a very well made notebook. I highly recommend.
This is one notebook that will not break at the corners. I'm using them to scrapbook. Also for my recipes and everything I want to keep. All other notebooks I've ever used break apart so the covers fall off.
These are fantastic! The rubber edges at the end of the front and back covers avoids the binder to fall on the sides. Plastic is good quality the colours are great! The labeling slots provided are great for identification of the binder itself; as in BIOLOGY HISTORY etc. The lever at the bottom makes it easy to open without having to struggle with the rings themselves. Avoids fingers getting caught in the rings when closing. The plastic sleeve cover on the front allows to label the binder as well as from the side (or spine).
I really like this binder because of the reinforced edges. I work in the construction industry and when you use the regular 3-ring binders a lot they tend to wear out fast. They usually lose the front binder cover. These are pretty heavy duty with rubber seams that hold up to the most use. For the reasonable price these are BY FAR the best binders I have found to date. I would definitely recommend buying this binder for any large job. Orange is our company color so I am glad that it comes in Orange.
I ordered 5 of these binders to use for files at work. Within a few days there is almost one ring on each that is broken and they are now very difficult to use.
I am using these binders to store my family genealogy. I use various colors to denote the different lines of family like paternal and maternal. They protect my work and aren't as likely to snap the spine as some of the older styles of binders.
My son needed a new notebook for school. I was leary about the size and design but he seems to like it. He was using a less sturdy notebook. This one has more room than he needs but loves it.
