1. Great color selection on these binders - Orange Hot Pink Green Blue - makes them easy to differentiate the uses. 2. Withstands consistent opening and closing of the binders throughout the day. 3. Doesn't "rip" like the other binders do at the seams. Only drawback with the binder - similar to other binders if you drop it the rings don't line up like they did when you purchase them. Highly recommend and will continue to purchase these types of binders (regardless of ring size needed) whenever I am in need.
I actually bought two of these based on a 1 1/2 inch version that had survived my 14 year old son who has a tendency to play basketball soccer or football wirh his backpack. The rings stay lined up and the binding doesn't break.
A few years ago I discovered Staples' Better View Binder to be a great tough binder with a flexible cover making it easy to squeeze into an overcrowded bookshelf for storage. When my hand-made cookbook binder began to fall apart I bought my new favorite binder to redo the old one. The binder replaced the old one and even had room to spare after I added another 25 pages to it. The orange goes well in my kitchen on my recipe book shelf and it is easy to wipe clean when using. I use these binders in my craft room to store unmounted stamps too. They provide lots of room and are sturdy enough to accommodate the stiff plastic storage sheets full of rubber stamps.
Just finished reorganizing the cookbooks after too many years of clipping and adding new recipes to envelopes stuck in between pages. Needed a large sturdy book that will stand up to years of heavy use in a kitchen environment. This one fits that description to a tee.
