This is the best binder that we have found for my kids for school. It isn't perfect...we usually need to replace it several times during the year because the binder rings stop opening and closing at some point.

Staples 3-Inch D-Ring Binder

I love the Staples binders because they have a see through pocket for indicating what is in the binder and also a place on the spine in case you stand it on a bookcase. I love the D-ring because it allows me to put more in the binder and the binders last very well.

Great binder for my 8th grader

At the beginning of school we bought my 8th grader an inexpensive binder that fell apart after a couple of weeks. We then bought this Staples Better 3 ring binder and it has held up to the rigorous 8th grade schedule.
