the one tab wasn't sufficient to our needs. this product is opened constantly by staff. not tuff enough for the abuse it has to take.

VERY useful notebook!

This 3" holds a lot of paperwork + is easy to retrace papers as needed. BUT I have found you MUST use the tab to open OR the notebook doesn't close properly + all is "lost!"

I like the fact that the spine of the binder is flexible and does not break like the stiff ones. It gives you much more space to add more papers.

Using Staples page protectors and post it divider tabs I have my entire years worth of writing units for my class. The d shaped rings keep the papers from getting stuck and it is flexible enough for easy opening. The color is bright and appealing.

Red "better" 3-inch D 3-ring binder

I was somewhat disappointed that the binder was constructed of stiff vinyl and not ridged. I thought "better" meant "better" not cheaper. I do like the way you can insert a label from the inside. The rings do not lock tight and the sheets sometimes escape them when turning pages. Perhaps this is inevitable for 3 inch rings. Other large binder I have include black stiff inserts for the front and back of the stack. I suppose I could justify a better rating if value were the prime consideration.
