Thick rings

I've been trying to find a binder from Staples that was like the ones I bought previously. These have the same look and feel with the rubberized edges. I don't know if it's because the binder width is thicker but with these two larger sizes (2 & 3") compared to 1-1/2" the ring width is so thick that it's not exactly easy to get the paper to feed over the holes. And they are just that teeny bit too far apart from the two outside holes so it's a stretch. Also the lever to pop open the rings is much thicker and takes some force to get open. I wanted and needed thicker binders but was hoping for the same ease of function I had with the prior binder that I love. The one I love says "World Wide" on the metal ring support whereas these new ones say "Staples." I did a search for "World Wide" when trying to order from Staples as the name Staples was also on the support but got nothing in the search.
