The D ring binders are the best. I use these for accounting in a middle school media center and they hold up very well. Lots of color choices although sometimes the colors online do NOT match up to the product.

This is a well built binder...for the price. The rings work well and are heavy-duty.I am not sure about the longevity of the exterior of this piece though. The flexible pieces of the binder appear a little flimsy if you plan on using this every day.

I've used the D-Ring binder in many sizes 1" - 3" during the last decade and find the functionality to be well worth the design time and engineering. These are extremely durable for personal use. The downsides are the lock which impedes users not familiar with the easy pushbutton latch and can result in skewed locks and the 3" lacks the tied enclosure in the front pane that smaller binders have. This is a handy feature. I tend to shop at the retail outlet not on line and find color selection is limited. There should be two of each color and size on the shelf at all times. The one color missing is grey. Color coding is critical for me and grey serves a vital function. Overall I'd say "That was easy."

Paper comes out of ring - not a tight fit. Love the colors. But it’s got to hold the papers.
