Attractive and practical for keeping academic/research articles that I need to refer to when writing major literature reviews. I have shelves with these binders to keep my office organized. Easier than going into a file drawer when working on a project.

this is quite ironic to have received this e mail this evening. My son ( who uses it for school) just wrote a letter to the corporate office in reference to this binder. we have had continuous problems with this binder both the 1 1/2 inch and the 2 inch every time we purchase them. the d rings become uneven and rip all the loose leaf pages and makes it virtually impossible to manipulate the pages. horrible construction. Do you make it this way so we have to buy more every few weeks?

I use these for work and my children use them for school. They are hauled in and out of backpacks stuffed in lockers opened and closed hundreds of times and stuffed to the limit. These binders take a beating and the keep on doing their job. My kids went through 2 traditional binders per class per year prior to finding these. These last for several years. We had one where the rubber began to tear and another where the rings stopped meeting up flush. Staples exchanged them without any fuss. My only complaint is that the clear view plastic covers tear off after a few months of being pulled in and out of backpacks and lockers. The other thing to be aware of is the rubber edges. They aid in durability but they do make it more difficult to pull in and out of a bag or our of a pile. They can be a pro or a con depending on your personal preferences. Overall I love these.
