A good 3-ring binder should come with a hard sheet protector in the front so you can close the cover without worrying about trapping the pages on the left side of the rings.

I like the sturdiness of the binder and the "D" ring. I wish it had straight pocket in the back that was more like the old pockets into which you could slide a few pages that weren't hole-punched.

Excellent binders. They may seem expensive but they will last all school year and maybe the year after too!ive paid less for binders and had to replace them after 2/3 months because the bindings broke. Well worth the money.

Staples has made school shopping awesome. There is not only value but there is great quality. In the past my kids have needed to replace their binders so many times I just couldn't afford it anymore. The Staples Better Binder is so durable that I have yet to replace one!! My son in elementary school and my daughter in high school both get great use out of them. And my daughter is so happy about the variety of colors they have and the fact that they actually fit in her locker. In the past she had to carry them all day in school. To sum this up I recommend them to those on a budget and those who quality means so much!!!!

Most durable binder around

My kids use these binders for school. It's the only binder they will let me buy for them. They do not wear down like most binders. I'd rather pay a little bit more for this binder rather than having to replace one in the middle of the year.
