Maybe it has been awhile since I bought a binder but $9 seems high compared to what else you can buy for that much money. Other than the price the binder seems fine. The rings close fully and are configured in a way that pieces of paper will not slip out.

I use these Binders for my Family Trees - I use the front to insert a family picture which makes it easy to see what tree I'm looking for plus the family name goes into the slot on the side.

I love these binders. The rubber edge keeps the binder from sliding around on your desk or in your bag. Easy to open rings - close aligned together each and every time! My favorite part is the easy slot for labeling the binder on its spine. Looks great on the shelf!
