My son is very difficult on binders with putting them in and out of his locker and these have held up for him. The only problem he had with them and it is him and nothing else is the rings themselves they didn't open and close like they should have by the end of the school year. Like I said he is very hard on binders and he usually goes through a minimum of 2 or 3 regular binders in a school year and last year when he used this binder he only had one binder in that particular subject all year.
Our condominium complex had a 'pizza party' in which I took and printed out 148 digital images. I measured the height/thickness of the stack of printed sheets and it came to just over an inch. Since I wanted this notebook to be only for the August Pizza Party the 3-ring 1 1/2 inch hard cover binder was perfect. So I want to thank you.

These binders can last the whole school year...which is not easy with my son. The only down-side is that the rubber edge can stick a little when you're trying to get it into your backpack or bag. But definitely more durable!

Best Binders I've owned

Overall these binders are pretty great. I wish I could pull open the rings instead of having to use the push button but this is just a minor thing for me compared to the overall quality of the binder. I love the rubber surround on the binder. It provides a good grip especially when the binders get full & heavy. I stick to the 1 1/2" width binders because I feel almost any binder that gets very large becomes too heavy for me. Once I began using these binders I haven't bought another kind since. Although they might seem a bit pricey so I buy these when on sale or there's a coupon.

Versatile Binder

I have a couple of the Better View Binders that handle everything from office projects to personal endeavors. They are versatile and allow me to easily rearrange my categories for greater ease and importance when projects get shifted. They are sturdy come in colors for color-coding and fit all standard 3-hole punch products such as dividers and papers. There is a side pocket for loose leaf selections to be later filed away for future use. I like the fact that I can label the binder for easy reference while on a shelf.
