perfect for my needs

I'm taking a writing class and needed a binder that would hold a spiral notebook and all of the handouts. This one does it all is clean and neat and not too big and bulky.

I have been using these binders for a few years now and I have never had one break yet. I tell everyone here to make sure you use the tab in the middle and not try and open with the ring. Everyone has done just what I ask (I know amazing) the binder is such a good value. We do a lot of classes and over the years I bet I have bought close to 1000 of these binders. I will continue to purchase these hopefully Staples keeps these in stock so far they seem to have every size that I need and the amount needed at the time. Keep up the good work.

Worth the cost

The pockets inside the front and back cover don't hold papers or CD/DVDs very well. Items can fall out of the pocket and against the rings and subsequently be lost. A slot or pouch for a pencil/pen would be helpful.

Durable capacious binder with one big flaw

These binders are well-constructed sturdy and easy to use. However Staples recently made a change that wasn't an improvement for which I'm subtracting a star. A bulky plastic pouch has replaced the flat plastic sheet inside the front cover. The pouch takes up a lot of space but is too small to hold standard letter-size paper. It also has a button-and-loop fasterner that catches and crumples the first pages in the binder even stiffened tab dividers. I hope Staples will return to the earlier design. In the meantime I may cut out the pouch to save space and prevent damage to the contents.
