Definitely heavyweight which is exactly what I was looking for. The bottom ring was not perfectly set so my pages get stuck - Other than that I am happy with my purchase

1" size too small

Never buy the 1" size. Too small for paper with ripping out the paper holes. This 1 1/2" is the smallest I would but. Expensive - watch for sales.

These binders are some of the best binders at Staples because the outside doesn't fall apart but the inside is horrible. The rings broke after a week and now won't close correctly!

I purchased these binders because the smaller version was the only binder in stock that came in the particular array of colors a required to fit in with the office color coding scheme and I prefer the symmetry of uniformity to a haphazard combination of all different varieties of binder at my desk….the standard binders did not have all the colors I needed.I’m glad that this binder filled my requirements because the thumb tab for opening the rings is not only functional but also comfortable and simple to access and the rubber at the edges of the binding seems like it will hold up better. They also look sharp on the desk. Title tab is also good very visible.

While doing a special "down memory lane " compilation of past successes for my son I needed a 3-ring binder. But just not any old common three-ring binder it had to be stately and beautiful. This fit the bill so perfectly. Inside there was an added feature where miscellaneous items could be slipped into a clear envelope type pocket which held quite a few memories for my son. I am so pleased with this elegant 3-ring binder. Also the sales representative dropped what she was doing to order this as the size I wanted was not in stock. It came as promised two days later but it was her attitude of helpfulness with cheer that made this whole transaction fun. Thank you
