The binder is great- just as shown. Seems sturdy and well constructed for my son's use this school year. Purchasing online from Staples was a great experience and we will do it again!

A really good binder

The only drawback to this item was that you had to open it from the bottom end of the ring spine - I couldn't open it by pulling on the rings themselve - a good feature in itself! - but it would be easier to open it if there were two thumb latches (one at each end!) Otherwise: I now have two (2) of these binders - I would NOT have bought a second one if the first one did not work per my expectations! The best feature I liked was being able to put a cover page in the plastic window on the front of the binder - now that was a real winner!!!

Yellow binder is ideal to store all my family genealogy research I also have the same binder in many other great colors. One color for each surname I am researching. Main data is electronic but the binders and their information keep me on the straight and narrow as genealogy research can be overwhelming! Love my binders.

If you are compiling research or study materials -- nothing will beat the sturdiness of the binder! There is also an inside (transparent) pocket folder to hold additional documents!
