it's a binder. as long as it holds up for a long time and the mechanics don't break they are an efficient tool.

Open & close easily. Pages turn well. Use in office but also have 4 at home for my recipe collections Which I have had years! They still look good as new.

Great notebook with lots of colors

I have ten of these binders now in ten different colors. The colors help me know on sight what the content is and the spine title area gives me (or anyone else) more specifics. I use the binders for notes and manuscripts of novels I’m working on or have completed and the possibility of placing a printed sheet under a transparent envelope on the front enables me to put a copy of the novel’s cover on the binder. I use 1 1/2” width but the variety of widths is also helpful. This is the only binder I’ll be buying going forward.
