As a college professor I use my collection of these binders to organize my classroom notes and handouts. I use a different color for each class which are easy to find when they get lost in a pile.

It depends on the rings

I am a student and I have a 3 inch binder. The only compliant I have is that my paper does not turn easy it gets stuck and my rings are not tightly together so they come apart easily. Make sure you examine the rings and make sure they are tight before purchase but yes! I would purchase another one.

1-1/2" Staples® Better® View Binders with D-Rings Purple by Staples is absolutely the favorite type of binder for my high school Daughter. She has been using this type of binders and other types as well for the past two years. 1-1/2" Staples® Better® View Binders with D-Rings are still holding up very well where the other types that she has used have already started falling apart or have already fallen apart. This is a Great high Quality binder and she has requested that I buy these and only these. Although they are a bit pricey the quality makes it all worth it.

I use these binders for both work and school. Our company provides binders for us but I use these because they stand up over time. As far as school. . .I wouldn't use anything else.

It's expensive but worth it!

I bought this for my daughter for school because regular binders fall apart. This binder lasts the entire school year. It's expensive but it does last and it's worth the money
