The rubberized edges certainly help the durability aspect however they also make it difficult to slide into a bag. A material of a more sleek nature would help to put it into a backpack or bag. The same rubberized hinge is perfect for durability. The "D" rings are very durable and close properly. The one-handed tab for opening the "D" rings is a bonus in the ease of operation. The matte finish on the cover sleeve lends to a more durable look and feel. The pockets on the inside of each cover are durable but could use a little more give to accommodate thicker booklets and pamphlets.

Better binder is BETTER.

I was trying to figure out how to combine a clipboard with a 3-ring binder for my job site inspections when I spotted these on the shelf. The way the front cover opens and flips to the back worked perfectly for the many pages of reference drawings and note pages I need to flip while walking and taking notes.

The clear plastic insert on the outside cover is very flimsy and tears easily. The overall construction is very durable and the colors available are excellant. THe push tab to open the notebook is easy to use and doesn't require the effort to pull apart the rings.

These are by far the best binders I have ever owned. They come in a great set of colors and sizes. I've owned several different ones for separate purposes as well as have bought some to give away. I love the plastic cover so I can add my own personal touch to them!!

Excellent quality. Front sleeve for "title page" is a great idea. I like the "D" ring concept better that the "O" ring concept. Keeps the interior documents more compact
