I have been using these for years to organize paperwork in notebooks for reference. Keeps paperwork handy and in good shape. Medium weight are good. I purchased the heavyweight sleeves which are useless for me. It takes an unrealistic amount of time to open them even with cutting off a slice of the top edge. Would love to send them back but no time to deal with the issue. I mentioned it to a cashier at Staples next time I purchased the medium weight sleeves. She just said that yes .. they are difficult to open.

I used for organizing manuals. Needed study heavy-duty sheet protectors. Used 4 boxes of 200. Worked out well and held up well. Will keep using them over and over again.

Love the sheet protectors because they are PVC free acid free and 2.4 mill thick. I use them for my genealogy paperwork.

I use many of these in genealogy notebooks I am making- finally got a case as 100 sheets do not last long- One man hope to do a page for each ancestor and he has over 5000 and making 6 notebooks so that is 30 000 pages- I have a stack of 5 boxes with 200 under one end of table towards the 30 000 pages- under the other end have another stack of 5 boxes with 200 sheets for another person . These Staples Standard Sheet Protectors are the absolute best. They are the perfect weight and are perfectly transparent for filing all of my business receipts. They are not too thick so that they are too heavy and they are also and not too thin or flimsy so they sit perfectly in my Staples folders.I have been buying 2 or 3 packs of these a year for the last six or seven years or so and I always find that the weight and feel of them is perfectly consistent. The holes for filing are also very good quality and they never rip.
