Not too thin and they work good for using dry erase markers on top of them for my kids.

These fine sheet covers help preserve countless legal and personal papers (including magazine articles) which I file and refer back to time and time again.
I use them to protect and organize piano music. It is so easy to keep music clean and to turn pages as the plastic provides a stable place to grab for quick turns. I store them in a large 3 ring binder that sits safely on the piano rack.

I use these to organize my binders for school and they are very high quality. I keep coming back for more. I tried to buy some at [@] thinking it was more convenient since I was already there and I needed more sheet protectors. However the [@] items were of extremely poor quality. I make sure to get my sheet protectors from Staples now.
Older versions of these sheet protectors were better. Current versions is narrower ;barely 8&1/2". It is difficult to load photographic papers into current pages. Adding to the difficulty is that both sides stick together taking extra time and effort to separate before loading. It may be a minor point but probably indictive of the change that the logo is much larger (and uglier) on the newer sheets.
