I am a genealogist and display my paper genealogical materials in twenty+ three-ring notebooks. I place each item in a sheet protector. The protector keeps the item clean and protected for a number of years (I am not sure how many years). The only down side of these protectors is that they make a book very heavy. I use mostly three- and four-inch three-ring notebooks.

Keep small items such as certificates safe from getting lost in a file cabinet heps organize like items used to create a catalog of items such as clipped coupons or cliped recipes.

We use the sheet protectors for our karaoke books. They take lots of pulling and tugging with no problem. A great value for the money.
