I am a teacher and am constantly looking for ways to stay organized as well as maintain materials from year to year. I love the Staples medium weight sheet protectors because they are reliable and strong. I can place a stack of papers (usually about ten) in each sheet protector and never worry about them splitting at the seams. These are a must have in my classroom!

These are probably okay for home use if you don't care about appearance. I needed them for work and I was embarrassed to have to use them: the holes were in different places (within boxes and among different boxes) so the pages did not align properly and the binder(s) full of them looked very sloppy.

This is a great product. I use at home and in the classroom. I teach preschool and use them to protect stories I find in magazines to read to children. I use at home to make keepsake scrapbooks to give as gifts and for myself. The pages really hold up to the wear and tear of even my little ones in the classroom.
