Will probably not last very long because of the daily use required in this situation. Although nice and clear are too thin and the edges are too short to withstand the constant use.

Once I found these page protectors I have used them for recipes beading patterns flipping to use both sides knitting patterns now bobbin lace making patterns and to store my samples and prickings in a perfectly safe manner. I used to use opaque envelopes but not any more. This size is great for most of my patterns but I have needed a wider page protector for large downloads. A representative looked through her catalog because I could not find the item on my own and came up with another great Staples product - High Capacity Heavyweight Sheet Protectors - 15994 which hold up to 70 sheets each. Excellent. I love Staples and have found multiple reasons to keep coming back. If I need something I can check online and then go to the store in the next town for what I have found. Sometimes I order online and have it delivered to my home. What a blessing. Thank you so much!

I love these for protecting recipes!

I use these sheet protectors for saving the instructions for craft projects for our Kids' Craft day at church (once a month). I also use them for organizing recipes and all my other "important" articles that I want to keep handy. Of course then I have to purchase large 3 ring binders to keep them in. . .(at Staples of course!!) I also organize my knitting and tatting instruction pages in the sheet protectors; I can then mark my place in the instructions with a post-it note as I go so I'll know where I left off and the ink on the instructions isn't affected by the post-it note. Thanks for a quality product.

am making a cookbook for my sone and I print the recipes and slip them into the clear sheet protectors and hace notebooks to put them in.

I used these to organize hobby magaines into three ring binders. They work great. There's a heavier version too but lighter version has worked well for me.
