I make 8.5X11 scrapbooks and the page protectors allow me to use note books vs. costly scrapbooks and I can determine how many pages just by the size of the note book. The scrapbooks usally have to have extra pages added.

I cut articles out of newspapers and magazines and insert them in the procetive covers. I also use them for instruction; crafts repair manuels etc. I put my favorite receipes in them and put them in a notebook that is handy for me to grab when I want a quick receipe. The receipes are protected for splatters and small spills. They wipe off and are ready to go again.My grandchildren draw and color me pictures and I put them in these protective sheets. I have started notebooks for each child to have later in life.
