Staples Standard Sheet Protectors

These sheet protectors work very well for almost anything you want protected or organized as I use them for my Stamp Collection to keep the stamps from sticking to themselves. I place a piece of vinyl plastic sheet in-between the stamps so that I can use both sides of the pages. The sheet protectors hold up very well as the 3 hole reinforced holes do not rip like others do. The sheets stay clear and do not fade or discolor. I also use the sheet protectors for teaching posters when I do Stamp Collecting Merit Badge instructions with the Scouts.

I have always shopped at Staples since this is a place that I find what I like and at a great price. I have always done our office supplies shopping here so we have decided to have an account too. Staples never disappointed me in their pricing and in their sales. They have ample supplies and if one orders online it gets to our office or home as promised. I would always recommend Staples to friend and colleagues.

These are the MOST frustrating protectors to open and to insert the sheet(s). The opening is almost crimped shut. A HUGE amount of time is wasted to get the top open and then you must slide your hand into the sleeve to break the static. The width of the protector is slim so the sheets don't slide easily into the protector. The material quality is OK. I would not recommend these unless you have great patience and lots of time to waste.

Inferior Product

The top opening of these sheet protectors are inconsistent. Some open easily while others are almost impossible to get open -- and that usually involves wrinkling (damaging) the top edge. I never have had trouble with the store brand protectors (of the same specification) that I purchased at another office supply store.

Long lasting protection for important papers

I purchased Staples Standard Sheet Protectors 100 pack recently to replace the ones that I had already used. I find them invaluable for protecting important papers especially when I need to carry them to share with someone else. Another favorite use is to protect recipes in my personal cookbook.
