Finding more and more uses

Over the last four or five years I have ordered a box of these at least every year. Initially I got them to protect letters and cards being amassed for my grandmother's 100th birthday. I have since used them for several other celebratory notebooks. They are nothing like the ones I remember from years ago that were a plastic that cracked or was easily torn. I have never had them stick to paper so that whatever is written or printed on it is transferred to this sleeve ruining what they were supposed to protect. My current box is being used for pre-school children to hold items they have cut out. The kids can see what they have and they can be put in a notebook or file folder without losing small items - which are anything but little to them. I use them for all my recipes. I can tape them to the cupboard door over the counter to quickly review as I am baking. I don't have to worry about tape tearing the recipes or getting the recipe soaked or having the ink run if it gets put down on a wet surface.

I have 3 different jobs and I use these for all three! Easy access and protected! Keeps important papers from being damaged or tearing out!

Perfect for storing old papers

I'm in the process of cleaning out my closets and file drawers and I needed to save a lot of papers and sketches in binders. I bought a pack of these sleeves for the things I didn't consider "archive worthy" but once I started filling them I was really impressed. They're easy to open but the slight texture keeps them from being too slick to grip. The spines are slightly reinforced with an extra layer of plastic so they don't hang as limply as other thin sheet protectors. And the archival nature of the plastic means they won't stick to any heavily inked documents especially old Xerox'ed papers. I've since bought about 10 packs of these things and filled 12 binders and I'll be back for more.

Sheet protectors serve their purpose

I am working on my family history and trying to keep the generations of both my paternal and maternal ancestors organized. Every time you think you have the right information for your ancestors something new pops up that changes everything you have just printed. Using the sheet protectors in my notebooks allows me to update the information without having to reprint reams of paper. I just reprint the pages that are affected and insert them into the appropriate protector and my information is updated quickly. I couldn't have done this project without them!!

These covers definitely get the job done and for a way better price than the brand names. Avery covers are great but really do we need to spend that much for report sheet protectors? Staples products once again meet the intent of the customer's purchase but for less money in a one-stop-shop experience that is simple convenient easy and painless. It's great to be able to stay right here in the comfort of my own office shop on Staples' web site and get the delivery on time every time.

I have used several boxes of these working on family trees. I print info and file it in binders. That way future generations have a place to refer back too. They are easy to work with.
