We use these by the case to protect the photographs that we ship to customers. Over they years we have tried a dozen or so brands and the Staples brand is among the best. The quality is consistantly good and they open seperate easliywith one hand. They are also less expensive than Avery but equal in quality.

Excellence in "standard" sheet protector

I had this project in mind to protect the museum's minutes from 1972 on which were in a big binder and the holes made in each page were tearing terribly from use and abuse. I happened on a sale at Hobby Lobby 2 packages of 100 for price of one - such a deal - but the problem was they fit sheets "UP TO 8-1/2 by 11 inches" NOT ACTUAL 8-1/2" x 11" sheets. BUMMER! And YES I did complain to manufacturer and Hobby Lobby. Then I went to STAPLES and got the PROFESSIONAL grade product that worked so much better. Ended up I got two 200 piece packages and completed that project and 2 more little ones.
