Spend the extra pennies for the Staples

These are acceptable light weight sheet protectors and the protected material can be easily read through the plastic. I would suggest however if it is for heavy use (e.g. protecting knitting patterns) that you spend the extra pennies and get the Staples Heavy Duty Sheet protectors. These stand up to about any abuse. I have one sock pattern that has been passed from knitter to knitter and looks as good as new. If what you are using it for is in a notebook without a lot of trauma then this product should do well for you. It's just that I heap lots more abuse on my sheet protectors!

We are using lots of these right now and this is the only kind I order. We have had some in the past that are hard to open and when you are filling binders and sliding papers in lots of sheet protectors you want ones that open easily. The Staples sheet protectors work the best for us.

I use these for many uses such as cutting down to protect scrapbook stickers covering various sized photos protection of labels on boxes and protecting papers in my household binders. They are the only ones I buy.
