The heavy cardboard package is encased in sealed plastic. Inside the sheet protectors themselves are encased in sealed plastic. So I had to remove the encased protectors from the box remove the sealed plastic and with difficulty get all the protectors back into the box. Give up the plastic encasement inside the box.

They're sheet protectors that go into 3-ring binders. The ones that I bought are adequate at protecting sheets of letter-sized paper and enabling me to insert them into a 3-ring binder.
