I have spent a fortune on these! I use them to protector my needlework patterns my journal writings etc. I prefer keep my paper clean and hold-free than punching holes and the corners getting bent.

Not clear enough for photos.

I do a lot of photography for the elderly and these covers will do but not as clear as another brand. Will not buy these again
The sheet protectors are a bit thin but they will easily serve their purpose. They will protect recipes in a binder -- so seldom will they be handled other than to flip a page.

Protect magazine clippings

I use sheet protectors to organize and store mainly woodworking plans/ideas clipped from magazines. I can put these in 3-ring binders without having to punch holes in the clippings which may sometimes take out information. Also magazine paper is pretty thin and would tear pretty easily in a binder.
