The staples brand is ok for basic work. If you don’t need them for presentations they’re fine. Compared to Avery they are a little flimsy.

I like the cost per pack. I like the clearness of the plastic. It does not have that glare or "fuzzy/blurry" look. I just wish the plastic material is a little thicker because it is a little thin.

Aside from merely protecting sheets of paper you can trim off the edges and create book jacket protectors for books up to 7" x 10".
