How Long Will They Last?

I've asked Staples if these sheet protectors are acid free because for one archival use I need them to last at least a century. So far Staples haven't answered.

I keep all my geneology research in protectors. I wanted to copy everything to donate the information to my local museum. Thinking I would have to take each sheet out to copy I was not looking forward to the hassel. The old protectors were difficult to use. When I started to use the new ones the paper slipped in without any difficulty. Then I found out that I could copy the papers without removing the protector. The job when fast and I had a neat organized gift to give to the museum for their Family history room.
I like these medium weight sheet protectors...they are large enough for letter size paper. I have bought others that were not quite large enough for letter size paper and that is a problem!
I bought these to put my handmade cookbook pages in. They may be a medium weight but they hold up very well and keep the spills and stuff off the pages.
