Strong and Fresh

Trash is now a pleasure thanks to Glad's Tall Kitchen Odor Shield bags. It actually does help neutralize the odor of waste. I love them and they fit my trash container like a glove. Could not ask for better,
Pros: Grips the can drawstring, Leak control, Strength, Won't rip or tear, Convenience, Odor neutralization, Good Value, Recycling & composting, Scent

I was at one time buying Glad and then I tried another brand and it did all the same things Glad did for less. I switched to this other brand, but the only problem was I could not seem to find a scent that would help neutralize the odor from the trash can. Since we have no need to empty the can daily it can build up a scent quickly. So, a week ago I went to the store and stood in the isle for about 5 minutes looking at the many bags I could buy. The scents, the strength, etc. So many choices, so I finally broke down, spent the extra money on the Glad Odor Shield Bag. The description is not at all what I was expecting. Sure at first the Febreze scent is strong, but after a day the scent is gone. So, after 3 days whatever is in the trash we can smell. Mind you we have a stainless steel trash can with a lid that closes. Then when I took the first bag out, it ripped at the draw string. This has happened with each and every bag. I go to take the trash out and the bag rips. I end up picking trash up off the floor and then it means when it goes in my trash can outside that it allows for leaking. So much for the leak control, strength, scent, and odor control. It does not help at all. I was better off spending less on the other brand and never having to deal with a ripped bag. I'll just go back to buying that brand and buying a little trash scent bar which did a better job and is still cheaper than buying Glad.

Bags fall apart

I love the scent of these bags but thats about it.They fall apart at the drawstring everytme I take a bag out of the trash.I have to use a second bag .I now buy Target lavender bags that don't fall apart and do everything Glad promised.I won't buy any Glad products again.

Losing Quality

We’ve been purchasing these specific trash bags for as long as I can remember, even when I was growing up, my parents purchased these. Never have had the issues I’ve had with the last now 4 boxes. Every, and I mean EVERY. SINGLE. BAG. in each box has pulled to shreds when I try to take it out of the can. We tried not filling it as much, and still, as soon as we tied it and barely lift, the entire top half rips off and there’s holes everywhere. Very very disappointed in this product at the moment.

Disappointed

This last large box that we purchased has had about 95% of the bags tear along the side seams. Most of the time, this is occurring when just trying to put the bag in the can. We have not changed trash cans. It appears the seams didn't get aligned correctly and it's causing catastrophic failure.

The Mediterranean Lavender is DISGUSTING

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I guess I haven't bought trashbags in a long time. I never expected they would come scented. This scent turns my stomach and I'm stuck with 80 of these bags. When the bags are in my car, I can't wait to get out. When I walk by the trashcan, my stomach turns. I wish I had never bought them!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tears easily

This was the only trash bag I would buy for a while. But the last 3-4 boxes I have purchased rip so easily. I waste half the bags putting them on he trash can. As soon as you open the trash bag, it rips right along the seam. Super annoying. "Force flex" is not flexible at all. I have a standard size kitchen trash can. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT

Fell apart.

I bought a box of 40 lavender febreze kitchen bags and EVERY SINGLE one fell apart on use. The black drawstring strap came out of top of bag so I was unable to use it as a drawstring and had no way to close the bags. Every time I replaced a bag I tried to be extra careful inserting it into the trash can, but all 40 of them broke.
