Cheaply Made

These binders are very expensive and cheaply made. It could not handle the weight of the papers inside.

Almost what I expected

I purchased a four inch binder last year which suited my needs for the one year. Since I needed one for this year I thought I was orderig the exact item. This is the Staples brand and the one I ordered last year was the Avery brand. I didn't realize that there was going to be a fold seam on the front cover of the Staples binder becasue the Avery binder did not have one. Right now the binder is working fine and seems to be okay. I'm just wondering what will happen when I put more and more papers in it throughout the year. Will it hold up to my expectations or will it fall apart. Only time will tell just how sturdy this one is.

4" D ring Binder wow its big...

This Binder is much bigger than I thought it would be and it holds A Lot of papers. My only complaint is that the rings do not always come back together properly and I have to jiggle it to get the papers past it. So outside of that its working for my needs.

Runs small aparently

Good quality plastic but the 4" binder is more like 3.5". It's noticeably smaller than my other 4" binders from other companies.

DOWNGRADED QUALITY

I have used Avery One Touch EZ-D View Binders for many years. They were sturdy and the rings were extremely comfortable to open. In short they were expensive but worth it. However the last time I received a shipment I thought they had sent the wrong product. But I checked the product number and realized that it was merely a significant downgrade of quality. Now the notebook covers are much lighter weight and less sturdy and the clear "view" portion of the cover is a thinner and cheaper material. Same big price but without the quality. Shame on Avery and Staples!

Great binder

We bought this binder because of the D-rings and it's easy to open press only one button feature. It works very well with even so much weight. I personally added two front plates from another binder which keeps the paper on the first and last page perfectly straight. We also went for the color Red for a reason but what I really liked was that the inside clear pockets which show your documents from top to bottom and theirs two levels of insertion one short and one longer both front and back have this feature. You'll give it five stars too. It's a sturdy reliable binder for the cost. If you feel it's too much cost wise I would wait for a coupon or sale still worth it.
