Bought this for my daughters class. She like to stay organized and needed a bigger notebook. It works great. It is easy to use. It snaps shut but not with enough force to pinch her fingers. It has pockets so she can put the papers she needs to turn in in without having to get into the main part of the notebook. The price wasn't bad for the quality of the notebook. It seems really sturdy which is good because she puts a lot of school papers in it. If something is spilled on it it wipes off with ease.

Mid weight for document storage

I pur hasrd these for storage of nonprofit association documents as meeting minutes reports membership lists and paid invoices. The pockets on the outside front and spine make for great contents specification and interior pockets for the odd bit of paper or list of contents. I would not use the binder for everyday heavy duty use. Don't overload- the metal closures can mis-align catching papers in their grip.

3" Staples Standart View D-Ring Binder

I do sales and when I meet with a designer or a procurement manager I like to provide them with a binder that includes catalogs from the manufacturers we represent. There is plenty of room for the catalogs in these binders and I can personalize the binders with our company logo on the front and on the spine. My customers love that they have an organized binder that allows them to look elsewhere besides a computer screen. Not everyone enjoys computer searches. Some customers like something they can hold in their hands.

Sturdier than a 5th Grader

We bought this binder for our fifth grader. Their teacher requires them to keep all homework worksheets and tests for the entire semester. So it gets filled completely and is used multiple times per day. Other than the doodling on the cover it looks just as new as the day we bought it. This binder is very well made!

ARGH! Label Stuck!

I have destroyed my third notebook trying to get the label off of the outside spine. They do not just peel right off like the Avery brands do. Cannot use a torn up notebook for business meetings.
