zip lock like closing mechanism seems very good. Capable of holding a lot of sheets. I put about 10 sheets of calibration data in them and they appear to be able to hold a lot more. Easy open easy close.

I bought these so I could keep Medicare and medical letters secure in easy-to-find folders in a loose leaf notebook. I really tried with several of the 10 protectors in the package and couldn't close one. Gave a couple to my mother who has diabetes and has lost feeling in her fingertips. Good heavy protectors that won't tear but without useable closures they're virtually useless. What a waste.

The item was not exactly what I thought it would be. It was thinner plastic than I needed for children to be able to manipulate without tearing and with ease.

It wasn't as heavy of a plastic as I thought it would be so it did not work for the project I had in mind but I will be using it for something else which it is really working very good for.
