A bit odd but really good

I looked all over and have tried many types. I am a bit old fashioned and like to keep some records forever. This binder is just right I have used them for a couple of years so far. The rubber hinges feel like they will last a long time and an unexpected bonus is that a stack of binders stays put without sliding onto the floor.

As a senior with arthritic hands I found the rings easy to open and close.

Great binder so far!

I bought this binder primarily because it was hard to find a yellow binder and this one was both the size and color I needed to maintain a color-code system. It turns out that the flexible rubberized hinges are ideal for folding the cover back to take up less space on your desk while studying or taking notes. I'm not sure if it was intended to be used this way so I hope it holds up. Besides the color this is my favorite feature of the binder. I also like the spine insert for labeling (much easier to use than a full-length sleeve) and the clear / unobtrusive slant pockets on the inside and outside covers. The mechanism for opening and closing the rings is different from what I have seen before and is very nice. The only drawback is the rubberized front edge of the binder - it makes it hard to put into a tote bag or book bag because there is also rubber on the spine - so it doesn't slide into your bag or against other books. Maybe this would be more of a plus for a binder that is kept on a shelf.

Pretty good. Everything about it is exactly what you need except sometimes it is hard to slide into things because it has rubber sides. Those are good for other things though.

This is a binder for my daugher's school. There's some unnecessary roughness and it should hold up for the next 4 months.

I had bought the cheaper binders first and my son destroyed them within two months. I went back to Staples and picked these durable binders and am very pleased with these binders.
