I regularly use these sheet protectors for my own music collections and for my students. I highly recommend these non-glare heavy-weight sheet protectors. They actually have enough room that I can use one protector to hold an entire orchestral selection when the performance is over.

I was disappointed with these because first they were milky in color not clear. Second they gave off as much shine as my traditional page protectors when I placed them side by side. These are not textured to reduce glare as I expected. I had to return them.

Use these in a notebook to hold music. It prevents putting holes in the pages. With multiple pages for a piece of music it prevents having notes or words missing due to punched holes. When I move music in the notebook these sheet avoid have punched holes on both sides of my music sheets. Also use them for recipes. They are neatly organized in a 3-ring binder and splatters or spills are easily wiped clean.

The Staples Heavyweight Sheet Protectors Clear 50/Box are significantly thicker than regular sheet protectors. Due to this the non-glare feature makes them a lttle bit harder to see thru. If durability is what you are after...these are perfect.
