First the sheet protectors do not feel like they are heavy weight. They feel very fragile. Second there is a lot of glare with the plastic that is used. This is a big problem with music. The glare is the biggest problem.

I keep papers organized by day in a binder and these sheet protectors keep everything clean and neat. They heavy duty ones are the best they don't tear or bend and it is easy to get pages into them more than one at a time. I usually keep about 5 papers in each page.
