Both my husband and I use these (both the full page and the 3-4x6 folders on a page)for pictures...We put together albums for our grandkids when they visit so it is an ongoing project...The children love seeing themselves in "pictures". We also are putting together info on our genealogy and the protectors keep the pages we assemble nice and neat.

We purchased these to keep our yard sale signs dry. They didn't work very well and when I had to remove the tape from them plastic was stretched and in some cases tore. We bought the heavier duty ones hoping to avoid these problems. Next time we will just use the cheaper thinner ones.

I wanted some heavy duty sheet protectors and these made by staples were the find. I am a teacher who wanted to save my lesson plans that I created on the computer and needed to print them out. I found these to be great for storing 8 1.5 x11 sheets of paper that I intend to use year after year with no need to reprint as I forsee that my papers will be kept preserved in these nice heavy duty sheet protectors. Also as a teacher these are so useful for everyday purposes. I also think this is a good deal when you spend a little more and get the 100count. Everyone can always find a use for sheet protectors. As a teacher I use them everyday in the classroom. You can write on them with eraser pens. They are durable and can last for years.
