I purchased Staples' Heavy-Duty Sheet Protectors on a whim. I had a job interview and wanted a way to professionally present my work. I already had 3 portfolios of previous years' work but decided to update to a newer more stylish compact portfolio that allowed me to showcase the various pieces of work I have. The portfolio I liked and wanted to purchase contained a 3-ring binder spine and would require me to punch holes in my work…not what I wanted. I stumbled upon the Staples' Heavy-Duty Sheet Protectors while investigating options. And I'm glad I did…they worked perfectly! Good quality and sturdy.

Just what I needed for my project.

I love to bake and cook on my days off. I clip recipes out of magazines and download them from the internet. They were not organized. A project I've been trying to get to for a while. Every time I wanted one I had to look through many of them. This of course took time away from actually baking or cooking. With the sheet protectors and several notebooks I alphabetized them and put all like recipes for a vegetable or fruit together. Example: Peach Pie Peach cobbler Peach Muffins etc. Now when I have a lot of peaches or zucchini or another item I have them all together. can choose which ones I want to use at that time.

I use a "ton" on these and believe the thickness of the material has been reduced recently. They seem more "flimsy" - but still useable. Perhaps your vendor is "cheating" Stapes on the weight of the individual pocket pages? I share my ideas and projects with LOTS of people and would recommend because of convenience of source.
