Not Wide Enough for Sheet Protectors or Dividers

This 5" Better Binder has a major design flaw that is not disclosed on the online listing and is not visible in the photos. The back of the binder is too narrow to cover a letter-sized 8.5x11 sheet protector. Just a 3-hole-punched paper fits but sheet protectors won't--they stick out from the fore-edge unprotected. That also means most dividers will not fit. The 1" version does not have this problem. Attached are photos of the 5" binder with a hole-punched letter paper Staples Better Divider and Staples sheet protector -- and the fore edge hanging off for everything but the bare paper. Also attached is a photo of the 1" binder from this same Better Binder line by Staples without that design flaw.

The binder is large enough but clips don't lock tight enough. When flipping through the binder can open and pages come loose.

Well-built and can hold a great deal of documents. This will hold the entire year of weekly reports for all departments at the factory I work at. Strong construction guarantees that the documents will remain in the binder even being handed around for audits and periodic reviews. Will definitely keep these binders in my "list" to re-order as needed.
